More than ballet!
The Great Gatsby Ballet Show, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s popular novel The Great Gatsby and Baz Lurman’s Oscar-winning film from 2013, will be the dance sensation of Summer 2018. Featuring dancers from renowned international ballet companies, it brings to life the riotous and pleasure-seeking world of America in the 1920s.

This breathtaking spectacle features eight star soloists from the Saint Petersburg Mariinszkij Ballet (including Denis and Anastasia Matvienko), as well as dancers from the Complexions Contemporary Ballet (USA) and the Kiev and Odessa National Ballet companies. They embody the jaded society of the filthy rich, living in a frenzy of jazz and opportunity, but whose world is superficial and empty of real emotion. Besides this cast of professional artists, the work of director-choreographer Dwight Rhoden guarantees the production’s success. In addition to working on ballet performances, he has supplied ambitious choreography for Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Nina Simon and, last but not least, one of the world’s most spectacular companies, Cirque Du Soleil.
This recently-premiered production is now touring the world, and it can be seen for the first time in Hungary at the invitation of Open-Air Theatre.

A tavaly hatalmas sikert aratott, teltházas aréna koncert után a világhírű zongoraművész és zeneszerző, Péter Bence 2024. december 7-én ismét az MVM Dome színpadán kápráztatja el a közönséget rendkívüli tehetségével. Bence legújabb, Pianoshphere című albuma egyben a névadója az idei turnénak, amelyet Ausztrália és Nyugat-Európa után a prágai O2 Arénában majd a dubai Coca Cola Arénában élvezhet a közönség. A turné utolsó állomása pedig a budapesti MVM Dome, 2024. december 7-én.
Janikovszky – lánykori nevén Kucses – Éva tizenkét és tizennyolc éves kora között, 1938-tól 1944-ig vezette a naplóját. Negyedik naplófüzetének borítóján ceruzával írva ez áll: „Kizárólag az utókor számára.”
Huszka Jenő történelmi ihletésű nagyoperettjét a fordulatos sorsú asszony, Lebstück Mária igaz története ihlette, aki az 1848-ban bécsi forradalom kitörésekor férfiruhába bújik, és álnéven csatlakozik az egyetemi légióhoz...
